The wait for thousands of youths of Maharashtra for several months finally ended today. In the meeting of Devendra Fadnavis cabinet on Tuesday (August 12), a big decision was taken regarding the recruitment of 15 thousand police posts.
This is good news for the youth waiting for this recruitment for several months. The recruitment process was postponing for the last few months, which created an atmosphere of resentment among the candidates. But now after the approval of the cabinet, this recruitment process will start fast soon.

Recruitment process takes place in three phases
Police recruitment in Maharashtra takes place in physical examination, written examination and interview in three phases. After the official advertisement of recruitment is published, information about eligibility criteria, necessary documents and application process will be available.
After the cabinet meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar wrote on X, “In today’s cabinet meeting, the state government related to administration, basic needs and communication has taken important decisions.”

Other cabinet decisions
The CMO (Chief Minister’s Office) said that under the public distribution system, the margin of shopkeepers has been increased in distribution of food grains to ration card holders.
The cabinet also approved the feasibility inter-financing (VGAPF) for the Solapur-Pune-Mumbai route. The cabinet relaxed the criteria for the guarantor of the loan under the schemes run by various public sector undertakings of the Department of Social Justice.
