Goods Train Derailed: Once again goods train derailed, accident due to technical fault in wheel.

Once again there is news of goods train derailment in Bihar. On the night of Monday, January 5, the tank wagon of a goods train suddenly derailed on the Samastipur-Khagaria railway section. This accident happened near Ruseraghat railway station. The derailed coach was at the rear of the train, due to which a major accident was averted.

Controlling the situation, the derailleur compartment was separated and the goods train was sent forward so that the railway operations were not affected much. However, the fortunate thing is that there is no information about any casualty in the accident. It is being told that this accident happened due to a technical fault in the wheel of the tank wagon.

Investigation into the causes of the accident

Railway officials said that there was some fault in the wheel of the tank wagon. The work of repairing the wagon was started immediately. The reasons behind the disturbance are being investigated. Divisional PRO RK Singh had given this information. At present, repair work is going on. The wagon has been brought back on the track with the help of crane and other equipment.

Questions are being raised on the arrangement and maintenance of railways

Meanwhile, the investigation into the accident that took place between Lahabon and Simultala railway stations under Asansol division of Eastern Railway is also going on. These continuous incidents have raised serious questions on the technical monitoring and maintenance system of the Railways. Now it remains to be seen how much the railway administration strengthens the security arrangements by taking lessons from these accidents.
