In Google I/O 2025, the company has made several announcements which will make life easier for Google app users than before. Something similar is going to happen in Gmail. Google’s email service Gmail will now become smarter than before as its smart-type will work in smart ways now. The company has integrated Gemini in Gmail, which will be able to gather information from your in-box and find out in which way you reply to the front. After this, smart reply will also give automatic reply to you in the same manner.

Gmail Smart reply The feature is a feature that suggests a possible answer to your email. But now with the arrival of Gemini, it will also be able to gather information from your Gmail inbox. It will also take information from Google Drive. Based on this information, it will be able to reply to your tone, and style.

Google released the Contextual upgrade for smart reply last year. Under this upgrade, long answers were going to smart reply than before. But even then these replys used to send response only on the basis of your Gmail Thrad based information. But after the new changes, now the answer to be sent will get more relevance than before. This will not be just a short reply.

Google’s view behind this is that Gemini can now understand the situation on which you want to reply. It automatically exploses other files and reads long threads so that all the information sent in the response is correct. Based on the person you are talking to, smart reply can now take care of tone and style. For example, if you are writing an email to your manager, it will suggest more formal reply. If you are talking with your friend then it will suggest casual text.

Smart Reply will first be available in English on web, iOS and Android. It will then be launched in Alpha in Google Labs in July. This feature is generally expected to be available in the third quarter of this year.
