On Monday, Republic Day in Jaipur, Rajasthan, there was chaos in the city’s Birla Temple when the car of a tourist who had come for a visit narrowly escaped falling from the stairs of the temple. The driver was following Google Maps and instead of taking the road, he dropped the car at the stairs of the temple. The good thing is that no one got hurt in this incident. Local devotees made a video of it and made it viral on social media.
After about two hours, the police somehow got the vehicle down the stairs. During this time there was commotion in the entire temple. People have advised not to rely on Google Maps. The local police has talked about investigation first regarding the action to be taken in the incident of car entering the temple premises.
What is the whole matter?
A large number of devotees had reached Birla Temple on the occasion of Republic Day in Jaipur. Meanwhile, a car came from the entry gate of the temple complex and drove the car on the stairs for the devotees to descend. The driver suddenly stopped the car by applying brakes. During this period there was shouting and screaming. As soon as the information was received, the local police reached the spot and rescued the car and brought it down after about two hours. There is no report of anyone getting injured during this period.
Google Map cheated again
During police interrogation, the driver told that he was driving the car from Google Map. Due to which he brought the car till the stairs of the temple. It was fortunate that the car was not at high speed. Otherwise a big accident could have happened. Police said that no one was injured or injured in the accident. The situation in the temple is normal now. The driver had entered the temple with the car due to a technical mistake.
