Government announced compensation for those killed in Delhi blast, CM Rekha Gupta gave information


The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Delhi has announced compensation for those killed, injured and seriously injured in the car blast near the Red Fort.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote on social media site X that the unfortunate incident in Delhi has shocked the entire city. In this difficult time, the Delhi Government’s deepest sympathies are with all the families who have lost their loved ones and those who have been injured in this incident.

How much compensation will the government give to whom?

CM wrote that Delhi government stands strongly with every victim’s family and we have taken a sensitive decision for immediate relief. In this incident, an amount of ₹ 10 lakh will be given to the families of the deceased, ₹ 5 lakh to the permanently disabled people, ₹ 2 lakh to the seriously injured. Our government will take the responsibility of providing proper and quality treatment to the injured. Peace and security of Delhi is our top priority. The administration is working with full diligence and stands with all the victims and their families.

Amidst all this, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation informed that due to security reasons, Red Fort Metro station will remain closed on November 12 also. All other stations are operating normally.
