Prime Minister Dick Shuf called an emergency cabinet meeting, after which he formally resigned. He said before submitting the resignation, “We are facing major challenges at the national and international level, which we need decisive capacity.” On the issue of migrants, right -wing MP Geert Wilders separated his party (PVV) from the ruling four -party alliance in the Netherlands.

PVV leader Geert Wilders said, “The government was unable to take any concrete decision on the refugee crisis. I had supported the government to adopt strict policy in this matter, but the government weakened this policy further.”

A coalition government was formed in the Netherlands in July 2024. 4 parties were formed in the Netherlands after cooperation. Now the government has come under minority. Last week, the wilders had prepared a 10 -point plan, asking the army to take several tough decisions including completely shutting down the movement of refugees, sending Syrian refugees, protecting the borders.
