  • First of all go to the official portal 8cpc.gov.in or MyGov website.
  • Click on Login to Participate or Submit Questionnaires option visible on the homepage.
  • After this enter your mobile number or email ID.
  • OTP will come on your number or email, enter it and complete the login.
  • After login, your profile will be created and you will be able to start the further process.

In this way, you can access the Commission’s questionnaire by logging into the portal and start the process of registering your opinion.

Opinion is being sought through 18 questions

After logging into the portal, employees will have to fill a questionnaire. The 8th Pay Commission has prepared a list of total 18 questions for this. The purpose of these questions is to understand what changes are felt by the employees in the current salary system.

  • Suggestions related to salary increase and salary structure.
  • Demand for changes in dearness allowance and other allowances.
  • Opinion related to improving the pension system.
  • Suggestions regarding terms of service and features.

Employees can answer these questions according to their experience and needs. Many employee organizations can also send their collective suggestions through this medium. This will help the Commission to understand the problems and expectations of different categories of employees.

Know these important things before sending suggestions

The government has also set a fixed time limit for this process. Employees and pensioners can send their suggestions only within a certain period. So if you want to register your opinion. So it is important to keep the time limit in mind.

  • The process of sending suggestions has started from March 5, 2026.
  • The last date for submitting suggestions has been fixed as 30 April 2026.
  • The Commission will accept only suggestions submitted online.
  • Memorandums sent through paper, email or PDF will not be valid.
  • Central government employees, pensioners, defense personnel and employee organizations can participate in it.

The Commission will analyze in detail all the suggestions received on the portal. After this, recommendations related to changes in salaries and allowances will be prepared keeping in mind the needs and economic conditions of the employees.
