The opposition has started sharp attacks on the central government regarding the Constitution (130th Amendment) Bill, introduced in Parliament, 2025. Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav has accused the government of weakening democratic values and constitution. He said that it is becoming clear that the government wants to keep all the rights in its hands.
SP MP Dimple Yadav said, ‘While the constitution talks about empowerment, the government is bent on weakening it. It is clear from the presentation of this amendment bill that the government is nervous and wants to keep the maximum powers with it. Now people have understood that this government is against democracy and constitution.

He further alleged that the objective of the central government is to limit the rights of the people and the states. The Samajwadi Party believes that such amendments will weaken the federal structure and will directly affect democratic institutions.
Opposition parties say that the government is trying to weaken constitutional values in the name of ‘reform’ and ‘administrative efficiency’. Describing it as a dangerous tendency, Dimple Yadav said that the public is now aware and has understood the intentions of the government.

At the same time, Samajwadi Party MP Rajiv Rai has opposed the three bills related to the removal of the post in the event of serious criminal cases pending the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers and ministers. He said that this is an attempt to kill the Constitution. Today the opposition is being surrounded and conspiracy is being hatched to end small political parties.
Gradually every voice, which will speak against the government, will come under their control. Rajiv Rai alleged that the government is misusing the ED and CBI and is taking political vengeance action. He clearly stated that the Samajwadi Party will not support this ‘black law’ under any circumstances.
