Tejashwi Yadav further wrote that the gang rape and murder of a widowed woman in Madhepura, the heinous gang rape and murder of a 4-year-old minor girl in Khagaria, the rape and murder of a NEET student of Jehanabad in Patna, shows brutal murder and power-protected cover-up. This government has become ruthless, cruel and inhuman.

When people register their protest against the incident in Patna and Khagaria, the ineffective police lathi-charges the protesters and sends them to jail. On the other hand, considering criminals and rapists as their ‘guests’, they are trying their best to protect and respect them. The corrupt police should explain why they beat up RJD leaders and workers and filed a case against them for demanding arrest of the criminals who raped and murdered a 4-year-old girl in Patna and Khagaria. Is it a crime to share the pain and suffering of victims and fight for their rights?

Tejashwi should speak on Shilpi Gautam murder case during RJD rule- Abhishek Jha
Taking a dig at Tejashwi Yadav’s statement, JDU spokesperson Abhishek Jha said that the manner in which the NEET student died under suspicious circumstances is sad. Our sympathies are with the victim’s family. Police investigation is going on and some arrests have also been made. Second opinion for post mortem has been sought from Patna AIIMS. Whoever is responsible behind the incident will not be spared and strict action will be taken. Nitish Kumar is ruling here. There is a policy of ‘no compromise’ with crime and criminals. Tejashwi Yadav is getting restless in this matter. He should speak on the Shilpi Gautam murder case that took place during the RJD rule, he should speak on the role of his people in the Shilpi Gautam murder case.
