President Draupadi Murmu simultaneously announced new appointments of Governor and Lieutenant Governor in several states and union territories. After this decision, new faces have emerged at a total of 9 places. These also include union territories like Delhi and Ladakh, where new Lieutenant Governors have been appointed.
This change has happened at a time when political turmoil is intense in many states. Especially in West Bengal, Governor C.V. Anand Bose resigned on the same day, after which a new Governor was immediately appointed there. In the notification issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, it was told that new people have been given the responsibility for the post of Governor or Lieutenant Governor in Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Ladakh and Tamil Nadu.
New appointment changes in these states
First VK in Delhi. Saxena was the Lieutenant Governor, but now Taranjit Singh Sandhu has been given the new responsibility in his place. Arif Mohammad Khan was the first Governor of Bihar, now Syed Ata Hasnain has been made the new Governor. CV in West Bengal After the resignation of Anand Bose, R.N. Ravi has been given the responsibility of Governor. First CP in Maharashtra Radhakrishnan was the Governor, now Jishnu Dev Varma has been given this post in his place. Earlier in Telangana, there was Jishnu Dev Verma, now Shiv Pratap Shukla has been made the Governor in his place.
Shiv Pratap Shukla was earlier the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, now this responsibility has been given to Kavinder Gupta. Nand Kishore Yadav has been made the Governor in place of Ajay Kumar in Nagaland. Kavinder Gupta was earlier the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, now Vinay Kumar Saxena has been given this responsibility in his place. RN in Tamil Nadu Ravi was the Governor, but now Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has been given additional charge there.

What is the salary of the Governor?
According to reports, at present the Governor of any state gets a salary of around Rs 3.5 lakh every month. This salary is the same in the entire country. That means whether the state is small or big, every governor is given the same salary. Even if a person is made the governor of two states simultaneously, he gets the salary of only one post. That means his monthly salary does not exceed Rs 3.5 lakh.
Apart from salary, many facilities are available
The Governor not only gets a salary, but is also given many government facilities. These facilities are given considering their position and responsibility. The biggest facility for living is government accommodation. Every governor is given a Raj Bhavan in the state capital. It is usually a large and historic building. The Governor lives here with his family.
Apart from this, they are given special arrangements for security. Security personnel are deployed with them. Apart from this, he also has personal staff, support staff and many officers who help him in his government work.
