Sunita’s last meeting with Dharmendra
While talking to Mid Day, Sunita said, ‘I was very sad. He was my childhood crush. We met during Ganesh Chaturthi. This was our last meeting. Esha Deol had organized the function of Ganesh Chaturthi in her house. I and my son Yash went there. We met Dharmendra ji and Hema ji.
Sunita further said, ‘Two years ago we also shared a stage. I also danced with Dharmendra ji. My heart is full for the family. Dharmendra ji was a legend. The industry will remember him. May the Queen rest his soul in peace.
Let us tell you that Dharmendra died on 24th November. His last rites were performed at Vile Parle crematorium. Dharmendra’s elder son Sunny Deol lit the funeral pyre. Actors Govinda, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan had reached the cremation ground. Even when Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, Govinda had gone to meet him.
Dharmendra’s last days
Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on 31 October. He was having trouble breathing. He was slowly recovering. But then suddenly his health suddenly became critical. His family brought him home. Dharmendra’s treatment was going on from home and on November 24, the actor bid goodbye to the world.
