Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday (November 8, 2025) alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is hurting the dignity of his post by using words like katta. Priyanka Gandhi had come to address the election rally in Kadwa assembly constituency of Katihar district. Here he said that Congress and the Grand Alliance are today fighting the same battle which Mahatma Gandhi once fought against the British rule.
He said, ‘On one hand the Prime Minister praises Vande Mataram, which is a symbol of non-violence and unity and on the other hand he uses language like Katta (country pistol). Is this in keeping with the dignity of his position?
NDA Government could not provide employment to the youth of Bihar: Priyanka
Taking aim at the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, the Congress General Secretary said, ‘This government has failed to provide employment to the youth and has handed over the public sector undertakings to its two corporate friends.’
Priyanka Gandhi said, ‘BJP thinks that it will buy the votes of women by giving them Rs 10,000, but the women of Bihar are now aware and will take their decision thoughtfully. This time the voters of Bihar will choose a government which respects the interests and sensitivities of the people.

Addressing an election rally in Kadwa assembly constituency, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, ‘We are fighting for your rights, for truth, against an empire and that empire belongs to Narendra Modi. Today they are also ruling this country by suppressing the people.
Along with this, he also accused BJP of trying to weaken the Constitution and weaken the democratic process. He said, ‘The rights for which Mahatma Gandhi fought are in danger today. One of those most important rights is the right to vote. BJP has tried its best to weaken the Constitution. They have also started stealing votes.
