Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has made a big recruitment announcement for young candidates. The company has issued a notification for recruitment to more than 2700 posts of trade, technician and graduate apprentice in its refinery division on 28 November 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website of IOCL from 28 November to 18 December 2025. Seeing this recruitment taking place in such large numbers, enthusiasm is being seen among the candidates across the country.
According to the recruitment process, online applications have started from 28th November and forms can be filled till 18th December night. IOCL has fixed the tentative date of written examination as 29th December 2025, while the results can be released by 9th January 2026. This examination will be the basis of final selection, hence candidates have been advised to prepare well.

Who can apply?
- Trade Apprentice (Attendant Operator): Candidates should have 3 years B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry. Must have a degree.
- Technician Apprentice: 3 years Diploma in relevant engineering branch is required.
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter etc.): Candidate should have passed Matriculation and have 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
age limit
The age for General and EWS has been kept at 18 to 24 years. Whereas the age of OBC (NCL) candidates should be between 18 to 27 years. The maximum age for SC/ST candidates is 29 years and for PwBD (UR/EWS) the maximum age is 34 years.
