There is very little time left for the youth who are dreaming of making a career as an engineer in Railways. The recruitment process for about 2600 posts of Junior Engineer (JE) is going on by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), but the last date to apply for it is now just a day away. The application window will close tomorrow i.e. on 10th December. Therefore, all the candidates who are eligible for this recruitment should complete the application process immediately without any delay. To fill the form, candidates can directly go to rrbcdg.gov.in or rrbapply.gov.in portal.
This opportunity to get a prestigious post like JE in Railways is very important, because Railway jobs are not only considered secure, but also provide good career growth, stability and government facilities. This is the reason why every year lakhs of candidates apply for the post of JE. This time too, youth are applying in large numbers and the traffic may also increase as the last date approaches.
Who can apply?
To participate in Junior Engineer Recruitment, the candidate must have an engineering degree or diploma in related trade from a recognized university or polytechnic institute. Different streams of degrees will be valid for different technical departments, so candidates should ensure that they are eligible as per the post they are applying for.

Apart from this, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 33 years. Age relaxation will be given as per reservation category. Age will be calculated as on January 1, 2026. That means the candidates will have to check their age and documents as per the same date.
What is the application fee?
All candidates will have to deposit the application fee. General, OBC and EWS candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500. Whereas SC, ST, PH candidates and women of all categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 250.
How to fill the form
- First of all go to the official website rrbapply.gov.in.
- Click on New Registration or Create Account option available on the homepage.
- Complete the registration by filling the required basic information like name, mobile number, email ID etc.
- After completion of registration, login again and fill the remaining details like educational qualification, address, category etc. correctly.
- Now candidates should upload their latest photo and signature in prescribed size.
- Now deposit the prescribed application fee.
- Finally, after submitting the form, take a print out of it and keep it safe.
