Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited i.e. BSNL has announced recruitment for Senior Executive Trainee posts for the year 2026. Through this recruitment, qualified youth will be given opportunities in the telecom and finance sectors. The company has issued an official notification saying that the online application process will start on 5 February 2026 at 10 am. Interested candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website of BSNL bsnl.co.in. The last date for applying has been fixed till 7 March 2026 at 10 am, while the opportunity to make corrections in the application form will be available till 15 March 2026.
A total of 120 posts will be filled under this recruitment. Of these, 40 posts have been earmarked for telecom stream and 11 posts for finance stream. The remaining posts will be reserved according to different categories. BSNL says that the selection process will be completely transparent and eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of merit.
What qualification is required?
If we talk about qualification, then for Telecom stream, the candidate should have BE or B.Tech degree in subjects like Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Instrumentation. This degree should be full time from a recognized institute and at least 60 percent marks are required. Whereas for Finance stream, candidates having the qualification of Chartered Accountant i.e. CA or Cost and Management Accountancy i.e. CMA can apply.
age limit
Talking about age limit, the maximum age for general, EWS and OBC (creamy layer) categories has been fixed at 30 years. For OBC non-creamy layer candidates, this limit is 33 years, while for SC and ST candidates, relaxation is given up to 35 years. Age will be calculated as per rules.
How much salary will you get?
For the post of BSNL Senior Executive Trainee, salary will be given under IDA Pay Scale E-3 ranging from Rs 24,900 to Rs 50,500. Apart from this, other allowances and facilities will also be provided by the company, which will further improve the total salary. This job is considered very beneficial for the youth who want a permanent career and secure future in a government company.
This is how the selection will happen
Talking about the selection process, the candidates will first have to give a computer based test. This exam will be based on multiple choice questions. Merit list will be prepared after the written examination. Candidates included in the merit will be called for document verification. Candidates who successfully complete all the stages will be finally selected.
Will I have to pay this much fee?
The application fee has also been fixed. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2500. Whereas for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Disabled candidates this fee has been kept at Rs 1250. Fees can be paid through online mode.

To apply, candidates must first visit the official website of BSNL. You have to go to “About Us” section on the homepage and click on “Career” option. There you will find a link related to this recruitment. As soon as you click on the link, the application page will open. First of all, the candidate will have to register by filling his basic information. After this, you will have to fill the complete application form by logging in with the registration number and password.
