Naval Ship Repair Yard (NSRY) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 210 apprentice posts. The offline application process for these posts has started from 24 October 2025, while the last date of application has been kept as 23 November 2025. This means you have one month to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
A total of 210 apprentice posts will be recruited in Naval Ship Repair Yard (NSRY). Most of these posts are at the naval bases of Karwar (Karnataka) and Goa. Many posts have been kept in Karwar for one year training, while opportunities for apprentices have also been given in the Naval Aircraft Yard, Goa.
what should be the qualification
Candidates applying for these posts must have 8th, 10th or ITI degree from a government recognized institute or university. Eligibility has been fixed for different posts, so it is important to read the notification carefully before applying.
age limit
For these posts, the minimum age of the candidates has been kept at 14 years and maximum age at 18 years. Reserved categories will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
selection process
Candidates will be selected in three phases. The first phase will be written examination, in which questions of 100 marks will be asked. The second phase will be of interview and the third phase will be of document verification. In the written examination, questions will be asked from Mathematics, Science and General Knowledge. The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours and there will be no negative marking, i.e. marks will not be deducted for wrong answers.
How much will be the stipend?
Candidates selected for apprentice posts will be given a stipend of Rs 3,400 to Rs 9,600 per month depending on the post. This amount will be decided according to the duration of training and the nature of the post. During the training, the candidates will be taught technical and practical skills in the disciplined environment of the Navy, which will be very helpful for their future career.

The application process for this recruitment has been kept offline. To apply, candidates will first have to register by visiting apprenticeshipindia.gov.in website. After completion of registration, fill all the required information and take a print out of your profile. After this, send all your necessary documents along with that printed profile to The Office In-Charge, Dockyard Apprentice School, Naval Ship Repair Yard, Naval Base, Karwar, Karnataka – 581308. Documents will be accepted only till 23 November 2025.
