Rahm Emanuel, chief of staff to former US President Barack Obama and former US Ambassador to Japan Has made serious allegations against Donald Trump. He said on Thursday (October 16) that Trump has caused great damage to India-US relations. Emmanuel called Trump greedy. He said that Trump spoiled relations with India because of ego and some money received from Pakistan.
Emmanuel said during an interview, “India could have become a bigger strategic balance for America than China.”, It could have been beneficial for America in the field of manufacturing and technology as well as in military cooperation, but the US President ruined relations with India with his decisions. He ruined America’s 40 years of strategic preparations.
Trump made a big mistake
Emmanuel held Trump entirely responsible for deteriorating relations with India. He called it Trump’s biggest mistake. He said, “The democratic governments of both the countries had built this partnership on the foundation of trust, which was destroyed.”

Trump spoiled relations with India
Relations between India and America are not going well for the last few months. US President Trump has come very close to Pakistan since Operation Sindoor. Pak Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir also met Trump. Trump, on the other hand, has soured relations with India. He also imposed 50 percent tariff on India.
