‘Ground Zero’ is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoscar and has been produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their production house Excel Entertainment. Ground Zero is based on real events, which revolves around the story of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, who led the operation in 2003 in which terrorist Rana Tahir Nadeem, known as Ghazi Baba, was killed. The film also stars Sai Tamhankar and Zoya Hussain in the lead roles.
