‘GST Savings Festival’ will run in Rajasthan from 22 to 29 September, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma held important meeting

The Rajasthan government has announced to organize a week long ‘GST Savings Festival’ from 22 to 29 September. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma addressed his cabinet ministers and MLAs on 21 September through a video conference.

During this, he said that all sections of the society will benefit from the recently implemented GST rates. He also said that this reform will make essential commodities cheaper, increase consumption and prove to be a profitable deal for both business and consumers.

The purpose and benefit of GST reforms

The Chief Minister stressed that GST 2.0 reforms are beneficial for all classes including farmers, industries and middle classes. He said that this improvement will not only reduce the prices of goods, but it will increase the purchase capacity of consumers and bring enthusiasm in the business. According to PTI, Sharma instructed all the public representatives to publicize this campaign with traders in their respective areas. Hoardings, banners and social media will also be used for this.

Bhajan Lal Sharma posted on his official social media account, “Discussed the historic GST reforms of the Government of India under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Chief Minister’s residence. He also called for celebrating ‘GST Savings Festival’ with full enthusiasm.”

The traders present at the meeting and representatives of the Industry Organization expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the reforms of GST 2.0. He said that this initiative has brought a new hope for both business and consumer. This scheme of Rajasthan government will play an important role in raising consumer awareness in the state and encouraging business. This week -long celebration is expected that positive messages will be reached in all classes about GST reforms.
