Gifts are being showered heavily on the World Cup winning Indian team. Around 40 crores to become champion, then BCCI announced to give Rs 51 crores to Team India and now a businessman from Surat has decided to give a special gift to the Indian women’s cricket team.
Surat businessman Govind Dholakia has gifted the Indian team with handmade diamond jewelery along with installation of solar panels on the roof of each member of the champion team. Let us tell you that Govind Dholakia is also a Rajya Sabha member.
According to news agency PTI, Govind Dholakia had written a letter to BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla expressing his intention to honor Team India on and off the field. Govind wanted to gift hand-crafted diamond jewelery to each member of Team India for their outstanding and determined performance. Along with this, he also talked about installing solar panels on the roof of every player’s house.
Govind Dholakia is known for his philanthropic work. He told that he is giving a gift to the Indian players for their discipline and determination. He has inspired millions of people with this performance. Govind is the chairman of Shri Ramakrishna Exports Company.
Earlier, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had announced a reward of Rs 51 crore for Team India. Team India had received prize money of about Rs 40 crore for winning the Women’s World Cup. This is 297 percent more than the prize money of the 2022 World Cup winner. Now it is being told that after the historic victory, the Indian team can meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday morning. Team India can be seen having breakfast with PM Modi.
