Mouni Roy’s restaurant ‘Badmaash’ gives real Bollywood atmosphere with Indian food. From the bar to the walls, ceilings and even the lights of the restaurant have been decorated with lush green plants and leaves, which makes ‘Badmaash’ attractive.

According to a report in ‘Screen’, the prices of some of the most famous dishes of Mouni Roy’s restaurant have been revealed. The price of most of the items in the menu is between Rs 300 to Rs 800.

The price of Shahi Tukda and Gulab Jamun in Mouni Roy’s restaurant is Rs 410. Avocado Bhel is also available in the restaurant, which costs Rs 395. Mouni Roy told IndianRetailer.com, ‘I love avocado and jhalmuri, so we made avocado bhel.’

At Mouni’s ‘Badmaash’ restaurant, the price of Masala Peanut, Masala Papad, Crispy Corn and Sev Puri is Rs 295. The price of Kanda Bhajiya is Rs 355 and prawn dishes are available for around Rs 795. Among breads, Tandoori Roti is available for Rs 105, Naan for Rs 115 and Amritsari Kulcha for Rs 145.

Explaining the reason for opening the restaurant, Mouni said, ‘I love Indian food. Whenever I travel for work, I look for Indian restaurants everywhere. It’s connected with me. I really feel that we are lacking good Indian restaurants, especially in Bengaluru and Mumbai, so having something like ‘Badmaash’ was a great opportunity.

She further said, ‘Whenever I went somewhere, I would always sit in a café with my book, coffee and croissant. That custom gave me the idea to open my own café. It was not possible then, but because of my husband and his best friends, I got the opportunity to open a restaurant.

Mouni Roy had said about her new venture in 2023, ‘I am very excited to open ‘Badmaash’, which reflects my love for Indian cuisine. The menu of ‘Badmaash’ will be an amazing experience.
