Amid the ongoing war with Israel and America, Iran has warned of attacking hotel owners in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. He says that American soldiers are being accommodated in these hotels. He has given an ultimatum to these hotel owners that these hotels can become the target of his military action.
According to the report of news agency ‘Fars’, due to the joint operation with Iranian and its allied militant groups against American soldiers, American soldiers are staying in hotels in Gulf countries. These attacks targeted American military infrastructure throughout the Middle East.
According to the report of news agency ‘Xinhua’, this warning applies to all those bases which harbor foreign military personnel, and if such activities continue then this warning will come into effect with immediate effect.
The report also claims that American troops have established their presence at civilian sites across the region. These include a logistics base near Beirut’s old airport and consultancy activities being run at the ‘Republic Palace’, ‘Four Seasons’ and ‘Sheraton’ hotels in Damascus. According to the report, this week US Marine soldiers have been sent to Djibouti International Airport via Istanbul and Sofia.
Earlier, on Thursday (March 26, 2026), Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi had warned hotels in Gulf Arab countries not to accept American military personnel. He accused these soldiers of fleeing their positions and using civilian areas as their cover.
Syed Abbas Araghchi wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, ‘Since the beginning of this war, American soldiers have fled from GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) military bases and hid in hotels and offices. They are using GCC citizens as human shields.
He compared the situation to hotels in the United States, where, he claims, bookings are refused to officers who may pose a threat to customers. He has urged hotels in the Gulf to adopt a similar policy.
