According to news agency ANI, DIG Border Range Satinder Singh said that the Gurdaspur police has busted a module that used to leak secret information to Pakistan. Two people have been arrested. He leaked secret information about our security forces in Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir.

ISI activated them after the Pahalgam attack

DIG Border Range Satinder Singh said that people involved in such activities are Pakistani spy. He has betrayed our country. He was in direct contact with ISI. The ISI activated him after the Pahalgam attack. One lakh rupees were also transferred to his accounts. Both of them are from Gurdaspur .. Both are 19-20 years old. They are also involved in drugs. They were sharing information for the last 15-20 days.

At the same time, Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said that in a campaign, the Gurdaspur police arrested two people involved in sharing sensitive military information and thwarted an attempt to compromise on national security.

According to the news agency PTI, Gaurav Yadav said in a post on ‘X’, “The reliable intelligence received on 15 May 2025 indicated that Sukhpreet Singh and Karanbir Singh were shared confidential details related to ‘Operation Sindoor’ with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. This information included the army, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the police have arrested both the suspects. The official said that intelligence information has been confirmed by forensic investigation of his (suspects) mobile phones. The police team has also recovered three mobile phones and eight cartridges (.30 bore) from his possession.

Gaurav Yadav said that preliminary investigation revealed that the accused were allegedly in direct contact with their bosses in ISI and had shared important information related to the Indian armed forces. A case has been registered under the official secrecy act at Dorrangla police station in Gurdaspur. Yadav said that the investigation is on and as the matter goes to the bottom, and there will be revelations.
