Gorakhpur guru purnima: Preparations have started loudly to celebrate Guru Purnima festival in Gorakhnath temple located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. This festival will be celebrated on 10 July in the temple complex. It is going to start with the Sapt day Shri Ram Katha. This Ram Katha will run from Friday 4 July to 10 July 2025. Yogi Kamal Nath, the head priest of Gorakhnath temple, gave information about this. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, CM Yogi Adityanath will also come here and do the puja recitation.
Giving information about this program, Principal priest Yogi Kamal Nath said that Guru Purnima festival will be celebrated on July 10, 2025 in the Gorakhnath temple complex. On this day, from 5.00 am to 6.00 pm, Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath ji will have special worship of all the gods, samadhi sites located in the temple premises after worshiping and worshiping, after which the aarti will be performed.

The Guru Purnima Festival will be celebrated from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan at Gorakhnath Temple. In which bhajan for devotees will start from 11.30. Gorakshapeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj will also be involved on Gurpurnima. During this time, he will convey the blessings of the disciples and devotees in the temple premises. After this, Bhandara will be organized from 12:30 pm.
Yogi Kamal Nath informed that on the occasion of Guru Purnima Festival, the grand Shri Ram Katha will be inaugurated at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan located in Gorakhnath temple complex from Friday, July 4. The Kathavyas Acharya Shri Shantanu Ji Maharaj, who came from Prayagraj, will give the devotees to the devotees from 3 pm to 6 pm to 6 pm. The Purnahuti of Shri Ram Katha will be held on July 10 at 11.30 am on the day of Guru Purnima. Shri Ram Katha will be on this day from 9 am to 11:30 pm.
