Recently a film has come out, Gustaakh Ishq, so friends, it would be wrong to call this film just a “film”, Gustaakh Ishq is an experience which touches both the heart and mind. Manish Malhotra has produced it with the same precision and love as if he has carved and decorated each and every detail of his every dress. This film is made for a specific target audience, and for them it is an absolute cinema experience. This story revolves around a publisher and a shayar, where the shayar does not want to see his poetry published, and the publisher wants his poetry to reach the world. The film progresses like a poem in its own way, and you just keep saying wow. Naseeruddin Shah’s acting is amazing, Vijay Verma has probably given the best performance of his career. We have often seen him in grey-shaded roles on OTT, but the Vijay seen here looks completely different. Fatima Sana Shaikh looks beautiful and mature, and she has played her character brilliantly. Sharib Hashmi has once again dominated the screen with his consistency and charm. Vibhu Puri’s writing and direction are excellent, the way the story unfolds is poetic and heartfelt. Vishal Bhardwaj’s music and Gulzar’s lyrics add cinematic magic to every scene. This film is not a typical masala or commercial entertainment. Neither like Pushpa, nor like KGF, but this cinema leaves an impact on your heart, and evokes the feeling of love, affection and affection. From our side, this film is given a 4 out of 5 star rating.
