Dr. Saurabh Sethi, a gastroenterologist who is a graduate from AIIMS and studied at Harvard-Stanford, shared 10 best morning habits for gut health on Instagram. He says that if these habits are adopted every morning, then problems like constipation, gas, bloating can be relieved to a great extent and the stomach remains clean regularly.
drink lukewarm water as soon as you wake up in the morning
After 7 to 8 hours of sleep the body becomes slightly dehydrated. In such a situation, drinking lukewarm water on an empty stomach activates the intestines and helps in natural bowel movement. If you want, you can add a few drops of lemon to it.
