Teeth and gum problems– Chewing gutkha makes the teeth yellow. The gums are weak and the risk of falling slowly increases.

Drugs and dependence- Gutkha contains chemical substances like nicotine and arecoline, which quickly adds to the body. Due to this people become mentally and physically dependent.

No matter how attractive the gutkha flavor is, it is very dangerous for health. Its regular intake can cause serious diseases like oral cancer, teeth and gum problems, heart disease and dependence. Health experts and WHOs always recommend staying away from gutkha and tobacco products.
