Ham party meeting: In Bihar’s capital Patna, the executive meeting of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) Party was held on Sunday. In the meeting, the party’s strategy was discussed in view of the upcoming assembly elections. Santosh Suman, a minister in the Bihar government and the national president of the party, chaired the meeting.

What did Santosh Suman say after the meeting?

Speaking to the news agency IANS after the meeting, Santosh Suman said, “The most important issue of today’s executive meeting was what should be our party’s strategy in the coming elections. How to strengthen the organization, win more and more seats and help your coalition colleagues strongly.

The party plans to deploy strong workers in every assembly constituency, so that a strong hold can be made at the ground level. Our publicity on social media should be more, all these things were discussed in the meeting “How many seats are their party preparing in Bihar assembly elections?

In response to this question, Santosh Suman said, “Our preparation is on all 243 seats in Bihar, as far as the demand for seats is concerned, Jitan Ram Manjhi always encourages his workers. Demand of 35 to 40 seats has come from the workers. Along with this, he also made it clear that the party will work to formulate an election strategy and the final decision on the seats will be done only after consultations.

We claim 35 to 40 seats

Let me tell you that earlier on Saturday, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi had said during the worker conference in the town of Purnia district that 35 to 40 seats for ‘Hum’ were claimed inside the NDA alliance and the party’s first official candidate Rajendra Yadav was declared a candidate from Kasba assembly constituency in Purnia district.

While addressing more than 10,000 party workers at Kalanand High School, ‘Hum’ chief looked quite emotional and excited. He had said that this time we should reach at least 20 of us in the assembly, so that the voice of the public is elevated. We need at least 35 to 40 seats to contest the Bihar assembly elections of 2025. Manjhi reminded the media that Rajendra Yadav contested from the town assembly constituency as an NDA candidate in 2020, making this seat a strong stronghold for the party.
