Bollywood actress Vani Kapoor was going to be seen in the romantic film Abir Gulal with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. Apart from Vani, Diljit Dosanjh’s film Sardarji 3 was also going to be released in which Hania Aamir was seen with him. Diljit has released Mother Overseas, not Sardarji 3 in India some time ago.
Vani Kapoor has reacted in an interview on this decision of Diljit Dosanjh. He has supported Diljit. While people were talking about banning Sardarji 3, Diljit released it.

In a special conversation with NDTV, Vani Kapoor told that the circumstances were more when Diljit was shooting the film. Vani said- ‘I am assuming that her film must have been shot before that terrible attack, and as a producer, her money must also be stuck. I think about 100 technicians will be engaged to make a film. Things were different at the time of shooting of the film. I do not think he had any intention to disrespect the country. He is a global star. He is respected worldwide. He has taken steps according to what he understood right. But I don’t think any law has been broken, isn’t it? ‘
Let me tell you that after the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April 2025, there has been tension in the relationship between India and Pakistan. The Pakistani artist has been banned from working in India. However, in the meantime, Diljit had decided to leave his most awaited film Sardarji 3 India and release Overseas.
