Veer Das is going to step into the field of direction with Aamir Khan Productions’ upcoming film ‘Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective’. A special preview screening was hosted before the release of the film and now its initial reviews have also started coming. Veer Das has shared a similar review on X in which the film has been described as very entertaining.

The review reads, “Watched the screening of the film ‘Happy Patel: Dangerous Jasoos’ at Lightbox Preview Theatre… Expected a fun spy comedy, but was really impressed after watching the film. ‘Happy Patel: Dangerous Jasoos’ is a two-hour journey which neither feels burdensome, nor drags, and most importantly, is extremely entertaining.”

Veer Das’s acting is strong
The star’s acting was praised, saying, “Veer Das is the life of the film. He makes Happy Patel lovable, disturbing, funny and heroic all at once. Aamir Khan adds authority and presence to the story, and his every scene feels necessary. This is a great example of simplicity.”

Recently, the film makers released its trailer, in which Veer Das is seen in a completely new avatar. Aamir Khan also plays a unique role in Happy Patel, made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. This film is going to be released in theaters on January 16, 2026.
