In Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, a bulletproof truck of an Indian Army went out of control on the Bhadarwah-Tamba inter-state road and fell into a ditch about 200 feet deep. In this painful road accident, 10 soldiers were martyred, while 11 soldiers were seriously injured. Rinkel Baliyan of village Bhatail of Hafizpur police station area of Hapur district was also included among the martyred soldiers. As soon as the mortal remains of Jawan Rinkel reached the village, there was mourning in the entire village, while there was a hue and cry in the family.
Seeing the face of young Rinkel, mother and wife started crying badly. While the one year old son lit his funeral pyre on his young father. Seeing this scene, District Magistrate Hapur along with the people standing there became emotional. The last rites of the soldier were performed with full military honours.
Was selected in Indian Army in 2016
The family members of the soldier, living in village Bhatail of Hafizpur police station area of Hapur, said that Rinkel Baliyan was selected in the Indian Army in the year 2016 and currently Rinkel was posted in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. During the tragic road accident, Jawan Rinkel was seriously injured, due to which he was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, where he died during treatment.
As soon as the family members received the information about the martyrdom of Jawan Rinkel on phone, a wave of mourning ran in the entire village. When the body reached the village, everyone gathered at Rinkel’s funeral. Young Rinkel’s mother and wife were crying and in bad condition. While the villagers were consoling Rinkel’s one year old child.
One year old son lit his funeral pyre
Jawan Rinkel was cremated with military honors and the one year old son cremated his father Jawan Rinkel Baliyan. During the last rites, Hapur District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey also appeared very emotional and was seen wiping his tears several times.
