‘Haq Hai is a very powerful film’
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has given the film 4/5 stars on X. He said in an interview to Zoom, “I am completely clear that it is a ‘word of mouth’. It is a very powerful film which can grow with ‘word of mouth’ and its business will increase manifold on Saturday and Sunday. By 2025, there is no doubt that every person, irrespective of gender, should watch it. I think it is a great and well-made film. It is a very important film which “Excellently told.”

Trade analyst Girish Johar said that “Haq” is gaining good momentum in the urban market and it is being released as a strategy in multiplexes of major metro cities. He said, “I am confident that the reviews and people’s reaction to the film will be very good.”
Girish Johar further said, “It has a strong message, which is based on an incident that happened in the past, but with the powerful acting of Imran and Yami, I am sure the film will have a good opening. I believe the film should earn Rs 2-3 crore domestically. However, I am sure it will have a good weekend due to word of mouth.”
Will progress due to word of mouth
Industry expert Akshay Rathi said, “Haq is a film which is not about a big start but about word of mouth earnings. It is a social drama which is based on a case of that time which really captured the imagination of the country and remains relevant even today.” He predicted, “It will have an opening of Rs 2-2.5 crore. But after that, just looking at the word of mouth, we are confident of its growth, it will keep getting better and can do well at the box office for weeks.”
