Actually, when she was a zonal commissioner in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), she started many unique and beneficial projects. He first started making power tiles from plastic waste, which helped to save the environment. At the same time, they started ‘She Toilets’ for the convenience of women. Apart from this, India’s first stomach park was also his brainchild. Also, through telemedicine services, health facilities were easily transported to the people. Hari Chandana started several projects to connect women with self -employment, which provided employment to thousands of women. Because of this, people also call him by the name of Eco Warrior.
Get Social Impact Award
Hari Chandana was the Collector of Narayanpet district during the Kovid-19 epidemic. At that time, she introduced the Aarunya Women’s Cooperative Society, from which thousands of weavers and artisans were linked to a large platform of e-commerce. This provided the market to the local artisans and also recognized their art. During that time, he got 4000 women the task of making masks, which made a profit of ₹ 50 lakh in a year. He was also awarded the Social Impact Award of the British Council for this magnificent work.

Hari Chandana is currently handling the post of Hyderabad Collector, which he was Chief Minister A.K. Revanth Reddy handed over. This journey of Hari Chandana gives a message to everyone that if the intentions are good then no challenge is big.
