Big news has come for lakhs of students of Haryana Board. Haryana Board of School Education (BSEH) has released the official datesheet for the annual examinations of class 10th and 12th to be held in the year 2026. By releasing this schedule in advance, the board has tried to give full time to the students for preparation. According to the board, the examinations will start from February 2026 and continue till April 2026. This time also all the examinations will be conducted in the afternoon shift.
According to the information released by Haryana Board, the examinations for class 10th and 12th will start from the last week of February. The first examination of class 12th will be held on 25th February 2026, while the examination of class 10th will be started from 26th February 2026. The board has made it clear that all the examinations will start from 12:30 pm, so that the students can get full time for preparation in the morning.
class 10th exam schedule
The board has prepared a balanced schedule for class 10th students. The first examination will be of Mathematics, which will be held on 26 February 2026. After this, Hindi exam will be held on 28th February. In the month of March, examinations of main subjects like English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Science and Social Science will be conducted.
Apart from this, examinations of subjects like Home Science, Painting, Agriculture, Computer Science, Animal Husbandry, Dance, Physical Education and Music will also be held on different dates. Examinations for subjects like IT and ITES have also been scheduled for mid-March. The board has also set a separate exam date for vocational i.e. NSQF subjects, so that the students of these subjects do not face any kind of problem.
Complete schedule of class 12th exams
Board examinations for class 12th students will start on 25 February 2026 with English subject. After this, examinations of important subjects like Political Science, Physics, Economics, History, Biology, Chemistry and Accountancy will be held in the month of March.
The Mathematics exam has been scheduled for March 17, 2026, while the Hindi exam will be held on March 24, 2026. Examinations for subjects like Geography, Business Studies, Sociology, Psychology and Entrepreneurship will also be completed by the end of March.
Apart from this, separate dates have also been fixed for subjects like music, dance, fine arts, home science and military science. Examinations for NSQF related subjects will be conducted in the beginning of April, so that the examination session can be concluded.
All exams in afternoon shift
Haryana Board has once again decided to conduct all the examinations from 12:30 pm. This will provide relief to students coming from far-flung areas. The exam time will be of three hours for most subjects, while the exam of some subjects will be completed in two and a half hours.
