Congress leader Vinesh Phogat has once again launched a scathing attack on former Indian Wrestling Association president and BJP leader Brij Bhushan Singh. Through a Facebook post, he raised questions on Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and other leaders. This statement has come after a program of Pro Wrestling League.
Vinesh Phogat wrote in her Facebook post that if the Sports Minister is asked in rapid fire who is the President of the Indian Wrestling Association, then the name of Brij Bhushan Singh will come directly from his mouth. He sarcastically said that no one even remembers the name of the real president.
He further alleged that recently Vinesh was seen in public with Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Brij Bhushan Singh during the Pro Wrestling League. Calling it extremely unfortunate, Vinesh said that these pictures raise many questions.
Leaders accused of abandoning morality
Vinesh Phogat targeted not only the Sports Minister but also many leaders especially of Haryana. He wrote that these leaders were worshiping the feet of Brij Bhushan Singh without any sense of shame. According to him, earlier there used to be a veil of morality and decorum in politics, which has now completely disappeared.
He also said that a section of the society believes that Pro Wrestling League is a medium for Brij Bhushan Singh to show his dominance in wrestling. Vinesh called it a wrong signal for the wrestling world.
In the last part of her post, Vinesh Phogat referred to the cases pending in the court. He raised the question that the Sports Minister should have at least waited for the court’s decision. Vinesh alleged that work has been done to give social legitimacy to an illegal president. He said “Thank you” to the Sports Minister in a sarcastic tone and said, ‘Also to those leaders of Haryana who were worshiping at the feet of Brij Bhushan without any reason!’
