He said that if the negligence of the bank is proved, the bank will have to compensate for the financial loss. Cases causing delay in disposal of complaints will be strictly reviewed. With each complaint lodged, tracking status and support will be provided to the victim.

He said that “Haryana Police aims to make cyber fraud difficult and make the police process citizen-friendly.” During the inspection, he also thoroughly examined the response system, data handling and follow-up structure of the police station.

DGP warned citizens that in the digital age, fraudsters are constantly adopting new methods, hence security is not possible without awareness.

Preparation of “Cyber ​​Awareness Ambassador” in schools and colleges

Haryana Police is working on a plan to make cyber security a mass movement in the state, under which “cyber awareness ambassadors” are being prepared in schools and colleges. The role of these students will be to spread safety messages in every home, society and on digital platforms.

Youth will be trained to identify and prevent cyber crimes. Awareness campaign will be run widely on social media. Partnership between police, educational institutions and citizens will be strengthened.
