State Minister Anil Vij got into an argument with a police officer at the District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting in Kaithal, Haryana on Friday. This debate between the two continued for a long time. The Superintendent of Police present in the meeting also tried to handle the matter but Vij’s anger did not subside and he angrily asked why his instructions were not followed.

Transport, Energy and Labor Minister Anil Vij accused the police officer in the meeting of ignoring the instructions given by him. Anil Vij was presiding over this meeting, during which he appeared angry with the police officer. During this period, a heated argument continued between the two for a long time.

Anil Vij got angry at the police officer in the meeting

Minister Anil Vij alleged that the police officer had ignored his earlier instructions to register zero FIR in the fraud case. He said that on receipt of a complaint, a zero FIR can be registered by any police station (irrespective of its jurisdiction). But the police officer did not do this.

Superintendent of Police (Kaithal) Upasana was also present in this meeting. Seeing the matter escalating, he also tried to convince the minister and intervene in the matter but Anil Vij was not ready to listen to him. When the Superintendent of Police presented the police’s side, Vij started getting angry at him also.

The officer was reprimanded in the meeting itself

In the meeting, Vij was pointing towards a police officer and repeatedly asking why his instructions were not followed. Meanwhile, the police officers were trying to explain their point but the minister was not ready to listen to anything.

The video of Minister Anil Vij’s argument with the police officer is also going viral on social media. In a video, the minister is heard telling the Superintendent of Police that the police is not doing its job properly.

‘People do not want false promises, they want real work and development’, Anil Vij said on BJP’s massive victory in Bihar.
