Haryana News: After Delhi, a big decision for the children of Gurugram too, classes up to 5th will be ‘hybrid’ amid rising AQI.

The continuously deteriorating air quality in Delhi-NCR has once again increased the concern of school administration and parents. Especially the air condition in Gurugram has reached very bad levels. Keeping this in mind, the district administration took an important decision on Thursday (November 13) and issued instructions to conduct classes in ‘hybrid mode’ for students up to class five in all government and private schools of the district. This decision has been taken giving priority to the health of children.

Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar informed about this decision by posting on social media platform ‘X’. He said that this step was necessary under the Phase-3 instructions of the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM). At present the AQI situation of the district is continuously moving towards the severe category, due to which it can have the most adverse impact on small children. Therefore, the administration took concrete precautionary measures and ordered schools to adopt the hybrid model.

The option of online classes completely depends on the parents – Deputy Commissioner

Hybrid mode means that classes will run both online and offline. Parents who have problems or health concerns in sending their children to school will be able to opt for online classes. For those children who want to come to school, offline classes will also be available following the necessary safety standards. Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar also clarified that the option of online classes will completely depend on the parents, schools will not put pressure on anyone.

Instructions to all schools to prepare system with immediate effect

According to the information, in the order issued in this regard, instructions have been given to all the schools to prepare the system with immediate effect so that children do not face any hindrance in their studies. Along with ensuring adequate digital arrangements for online classes, schools have also been asked not to burden any student with regard to attendance.

A good option for children to continue their studies safely at home.

Parents of Gurugram have welcomed this decision. He says that pollution is continuously increasing and in such a time, keeping small children safe at home and continuing their studies is the best option. At the same time, the schools have also assured the administration that they will implement the hybrid medium effectively without any problem.

Overall, amid increasing air pollution, this decision is being considered a timely and necessary step keeping in mind the safety of children, so that education continues and health does not have to be compromised.
