Before the assembly elections in Bihar, Nitish Kumar’s government had started the Women Employment Scheme. Under this scheme, Rs 10,000 each were deposited in the accounts of women. However, now the opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has made a big claim. RJD says that NDA was very hasty in the run-up to the elections and by mistake sent Rs 10,000 to the accounts of men instead of eligible women. It is also being alleged that the ruling coalition party is now demanding this money back from the people.
In fact, Rashtriya Janata Dal posted from the official
In Bihar, there was such a rush to buy votes and get power by bribing NDA leaders and officials that the poor people ended up in a terrible mess. The restlessness and insecurity was so much that instead of women, Rs 10,000 was sent to the accounts of men.

‘First return the votes and then the men will return the money’- RJD
Not only this, it has also been written on behalf of the opposition party, “Now love letters are being written to men to return ten thousand rupees. Hunger, inflation, migration and unemployment are so high in Bihar that these thousand would have been spent the moment they were given. The poor men will not return this loan amount at all because first return their votes.”
RJD also targeted the NDA and said, “For how many days will you hide EVMs, rigging, vote buying, vote theft and governments formed with machinery? The truth will come out one day.”
Letters were sent to 15 account holders
It is being told that taking cognizance of the matter, Jeevika’s BPM Devdutt has issued a letter to all the 15 concerned account holders. People have been asked to return the amount they have received to the official bank account of Jeevika without any delay.
It has been officially told that both men and women are included in the Divyang Jeevika Group. In many cases, this technical error has occurred due to bank account details being entered in the same column. The amount of eligible women’s share went into the accounts of male disabled members. A person has also returned amount B. The process of taking back Rs 10,000 from the rest is also going on.
