Gautam Gambhir did not stop here. Taking a direct aim at Kris Srikkanth, he said, “If your child starts playing cricket, imagine how you would feel if he is abused. He is a 23-year-old child, not a 33-year-old. Criticize me, I can tolerate it but doing this to a 23-year-old boy is unacceptable.”

Chris Srikkanth had raised questions on the selection process of Team India and said, “You do not select many players who perform well, but bring in the team those who do not do well. The biggest example of this is Harshit Rana, who helps Gautam Gambhir and hence is in the team.”
