Asaram, who is serving life imprisonment in the case of sexual exploitation of a minor student of his own Gurukul in Jodhpur, suddenly deteriorated on Thursday. According to sources, he suddenly started having trouble breathing in Jodhpur Central Jail, after which the jail administration immediately admitted him to the private hospital Arogyam for treatment.
According to the information, Asaram has been suffering from many diseases for some time and he often has difficulty in breathing. It was told by the jail administration that the medical team is continuously monitoring him. At present, information received from sources has revealed that his condition is serious.
It is noteworthy that in 2018, Asaram was sentenced to life imprisonment by the special POCSO court of Jodhpur in the case of raping a minor student. Since then he is lodged in Jodhpur Central Jail. The hospital administration has completely banned the entry of outsiders into Asaram’s ward due to security reasons. A special team of jail police is deployed in the hospital all the time.
