Vitamin D Deficiency Cancer Risk : Vitamin D is a very important nutrient for our body and health, which is helpful in strengthening bones, improving the immune system and many other physical processes. According to a study, people in which vitamin D levels are lower than normal, the risk of colon and breast cancer was found to be high. Research of Harvard Medical School states that some cancer risk can be reduced by taking sufficient amount of vitamin D. However, the American Cancer Society believes that more research is needed to prove direct connection between vitamin D and cancer.
