The water level of rivers has also increased. This rainy season will continue today (July 18). The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of very heavy rains in the next 24 hours. Warning of strong winds with rain has been warned.
According to the Meteorological Department, in most parts of western UP, there will be rain in many places with thunderstorms today, some districts of Eastern UP are also expected to have good rains. There is an orange alert of very heavy rains at almost all places in Lalitpur, Jhansi and Mahoba. These districts are an alert for thunderstorms with cloud roaring and faster winds at a speed of 40-50 km. There is a possibility of very heavy rains at some places.
Temperature drop due to rain
The speed of monsoon will decrease on Saturday. The weather will be normal in the entire state on this day. But from July 20, a period of heavy rain will start in the state once again. Till July 23, there will be rain in different parts of the state. In the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature will decline by 2-4 degrees. After this, there is a possibility of increasing again.
In which districts rain alert?
In UP today, there have been warnings of strong rains, cloud roaring and lightning in many places in Agra, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Auraiya, Kanpur, Etawah, Firozabad, and Mathura. Kannauj, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Etah, Kasganj. Hathras, Aligarh, Bulandshahr and Noida are also expected to rain at many places today.
Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Amroha, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Mirjapur, Sonbhadra will rain at some places today. Yellow alert of thunderstorms has also been issued in these districts.
Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Lucknow, Bahraich, Shravasti, Amethi, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Varanasi, Chandauli, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Kushinagar and Maharaj may have light rain shower in one or two places today. There is no alert in these districts. The weather is expected to remain dry in the rest of the districts.
