Plane Crashes in the US: A tourist helicopter fell into the Hudson River on Thursday (April 10) in the city of New York, USA. According to the Reuters report, all six people in the helicopter died in this accident. There were also three children among those who died.

New York Mayor Eric Adams said that those killed in the accident were from the same family of Spain and he was accompanied by a helicopter pilot. According to the news agency AFP, two people were rushed to the hospital after the accident, but later also died.

Mayor Eric Adams released a statement

Officials have not yet made the names of those who died, but according to the New York Post, the helicopter was in Spain, the president of the Siemens Company and CEO Agustin Escobar, his wife and his three children.

Speaking to the media, Mayor Eric Adams said, “At present, all six people have been taken out of the water and regrettably, everyone has died.” He further said that it was a very sad and heartbreaking accident.

President Donald Trump expressed grief

Reacting to the accident, US President Donald Trump said, “There has been a terrible helicopter accident in the Hudson River. It seems that six people, including pilots, two big and three children, are no longer among us. The video of the accident is very scary.”

Trump wrote on his social media platform ‘Truth’, “God give strength to the families and friends of the victims. Transport Secretary Sean Dafi and his team are investigating the matter. Soon it will be told how and why this accident happened.”
