The cabinet led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in Madhya Pradesh has approved helicopter service within the state on Tuesday (September 23) under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in collaboration with private operators. Its objective is to provide affordable helicopter service for major cities, religious places, national parks and tourist places.

After the cabinet meeting, Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya told the media that private operators will provide helicopter service at selected places between airports, helipads and airstrips across the state.

Cities divided into 3 sectors for helicopter service

The minister said, “For the operation of helicopter services, major cities of the state have been divided into three sectors, under which Indore, Ujjain, Omjain, Omkareshwar, Mandu, Maheshwar, Gandhisagar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Hanuwantia, Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Barwani, Alirajpur, Ratlam, Jhabu, Jhabu, Jhabau, Jhaban and Jabalpur Is.”

In which cities helicopter service?

Business and tourism activities will be promoted- Vijayvargiya

Vijayvargiya said, “The purpose of this service is to provide affordable and permanent helicopter service between major cities, religious places, national parks and tourist places of the state. This will facilitate the movement of passengers, tourists, businessmen, investors and common citizens. This initiative will promote trade and tourism activities in the state and new employment opportunities will also be created.

Revised cost approval for Satpura Thermal Power Plant

In addition, the cabinet was approached for Rs 11,678.74 crore of Satpura Thermal Power Plant at Table and Rs 11,476.31 crore of Amarkantak Thermal Power Plant of Chachai. According to an official statement, both projects will be financed in 20:80 parties and loans. The state government will provide a share of Rs 684.53 crore for the Satpura project and Rs 699.90 crore for the Amarkantak project. The power generation company will arrange the remaining amount from its sources.

Senior resident doctors will be recruited

The Council of Ministers approved the creation of 354 new posts of Senior Resident as per the standards of National Medical Commission in 13 Autonomous Medical Colleges. These posts have been created in Autonomous Medical Colleges of Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa, Satna, Vidisha, Ratlam, Khandwa, Shahdol, Shivpuri, Datia and Chhindwara.

Vijayvargiya said, “This decision will ensure the operation of medical colleges according to national standards. Also, postgraduate students will be able to do senior residentship in their own institute, so that qualified medical teachers in non-clinical and para-clinical subjects will also be available. ”
