Jharkhand maiya samman yojana: In Jharkhand, the government has changed the rules for the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister’s Mayian Samman Yojana. After March 2025, the benefit of this scheme will be given to those beneficiaries, whose Aadhaar number will be linked to their single bank account. However, till March, the amount of this scheme will be sent to the account of those beneficiaries, whose account is not linked to Aadhaar.
The proposal related to this was approved in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday (March 25) under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 2,500 per month is being sent to the account of about 57 lakh women for the last few months.
16 proposals approved in Jharkhand cabinet meeting
Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said that a total of 16 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday. According to an important decision by the cabinet, the then BDO Sadhana Jaipuriyar of Manika Block of Latehar, who was suspended on charges of disturbing the MNREGA scheme, was dismissed from service. The cabinet also approved the formation of Rules-2025, Rules-2025, Jharkhand Community Health Assistant Cadre (Recruitment, Promotion and other service) under the Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare.
Relief for small and medium industries
The Cabinet was approved in the cabinet with prior impact for the FY 2024-25 third supplementary expenditure details, the Economic Survey presented during the current budget session in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and the budget estimate of FY 2025-26. The Jharkhand Micro Small and Industry Special Rebate Bill was approved, which will provide special relief to small and medium industries in the state.
The cabinet has also approved the amendment of the rules of promotion of branch officials of Jharkhand Secretariat Service. As part of the order passed by the High Court, the confirmation of the service of six personnel in the Agriculture Department was also approved in the meeting. According to another decision, the construction of the barrage near the Bal Pahari Dam was given theoretical consent.
