A government school in Changhua County, Taiwan is in the news all over the world these days. The reason is the unique graduation rule here, which people are surprised to know. In this school, students do not have to take an exam to get a graduation certificate, but have to climb a 5-storey high wall. Actually, this case is of Ershui Junior High School in Taiwan. Taiwan’s tallest rock climbing wall is present in the campus of this school, whose height is about 15 meters. This height is considered to be approximately equal to a five-storey building. For the students studying here, this wall is not just a game but a condition for graduation.

Here one has to climb a wall to get graduation certificate

According to the school administration, six rock climbing classes are given to the students every week. At the end of the year, when students successfully climb this high wall, their graduation certificate is signed. That means if the wall is not up, there is no certificate either. At first glance, this challenge is enough to scare any grown man, but the school students see it as a thrill rather than a fear. Children say that they are not afraid of rock climbing, rather they enjoy it. Many students even practice climbing with their parents in their free time.
