Hero MotoCorp has also planned to increase VIDA’s dealership network. It has about 180 dealerships in 116 cities of the country. Electric scooters of Hero MotoCorp compete with the S1 Pro of Ola Electric and 450X of Ather Energy. The company plans to launch electric two-wheelers in various price segments. The company’s V1 Pro battery is 3.94 kwh and range 165 km, while the V1 Plus battery is 3.44 kwh and range of about 143 km. Hero MotoCorp has delayed starting in this segment, which has benefited startups like Ather Energy and Ola Electric.
In the last financial year, the cells of Electric Scooters of Hero MotoCorp have increased by about 175 percent. The company has sold 48,673 units. In the last financial year, the figure was about 17,720 units. Manufacturing of the company’s electric scooters has a capacity of 7,000 units per month. This capacity can soon be increased to more than 15,000 units per month.
