On Monday (November 10), an explosion occurred in a car parked near the Red Fort metro station in the country’s capital Delhi. So far, the news of death of 8 people is coming in this explosion. After this blast, high-alert was issued across the country. Security alert has been issued in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Along with this, security of major places of the state has also been increased. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions after the blast.
CM Yogi has given instructions for strict surveillance in important places, religious places, markets and crowded areas of the state. Police officers have been asked to remain alert in sensitive districts and places. CM Yogi said that police officers should remain alert in sensitive districts and places and there should be active monitoring of social media and rumours. Along with this, CM Yogi has a clear message to control and monitor technical activities like drones and surveillance.
Police started checking campaign in Lucknow and Noida
Lucknow Commissioner Amarendra Sengar said that checking has been done at major busy places of Lucknow and red alert has been declared in Lucknow. On the other hand, after the blast at Red Fort, high alert has been put in Noida also. Police checking is being done in crowded areas of Noida. Heavy police force is running checking operations in different areas. Police have started a checking campaign in Sector 18, one of the most posh areas of the city, and suspicious vehicles and people are being stopped and checked.
Red alert on India Nepal border
There is a police alert in Maharajganj of UP. Due to the blast in Delhi, there is a red alert on the India-Nepal border and the police is on alert at the railway station and bus station. Security personnel have their first look at the footpaths of the border area and have increased surveillance on the 84 km open border. SP Somendra Meena has conducted investigation at Farenda Railway Station.
PM Modi took stock of the situation
On the other hand, after the Delhi bomb blast, there is an alert in Dehradun and the police has increased vigil in the crowded area. Police forces have been deployed in all crowded areas including railway stations and bus stations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken stock of the situation after the explosion near Gate No. 1 of Red Fort metro station in Delhi. He spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and took an update on the situation.
