The condition of some big cities is worse. On this, a post is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which the salary of Rs 50 lakh in Tech City Bengaluru is being told as equal to Rs 25 lakh annually.
Actually, a user named Saurabh Dutta on X has written, “I have heard that many people are earning 50 lakh rupees annually in the IT sector of Bengaluru. Either they are exaggerating their CTC or 50 lakhs per annum have now become equal to 25 lakhs. ”Saurabh’s post has flooded with comments.

Some users say that the cost of living in Bangalore is so much that a salary of Rs 50 lakh also seems to be less. On this post, a user commented and wrote, 50 lakh rupees has now become equal to 10 lakh rupees. Most people are now earning 1 crore rupees.
Commenting another user said, “If you are not earning 1 crore by staying in Bengaluru, then it is a waste of time. It is better to cover your luggage and leave. ”However, some have seen disagree with Saurabh’s words. Questioning the generalization, a user wrote, “You should have a baseline. Are you comparing 50 lakhs annually in 2005, 2015 or 2020 to 10 lakhs? ”
One told, “It is just a matter of Bengaluru. 25 lakhs in Hyderabad are still 25 lakhs. Most people earn less than this. “One user wrote,” Microsoft gives 50LPA, but the base salary is only 16 lakhs.
